Names on this list have been revised as of 25.07.03 and following the kindly donation of
''A revised cytotaxonomy of the genus Tulbaghia (Alliaceae) by Canio G. Vosa;
and by Dr. Canio G. Vosa himself. This latest revision, from Caryologia Vol.53, no.2: 83-112,2000; contains colour photographs of many of the species. With regards to T. cepacea change to
T. violacea and T. fragrans change to T. simmleri. The reference for this is NOTES ON TULBAGHIA 2 by Canio G. Vosa. Published in 'The Journal of South African Botany 46 (2): 109-114 (1980).

The above form of T. leucantha has a distribution that includes N.W. Lesotho and Orange Free State, South Africa, and was once referred to, and is synonymous with Tulbaghia dieterlenii.

Further investigation of these plants is necessary to establish the
species involved in these crosses. These crosses are frequently found in horticulture offered as Tulbaghia alliacea, which they are not. Tulbaghia alliacea is rarer in hort. In the UK than was first thought.
